Lead Release Train Engineer

Rachel Ramsey is an accomplished IT leader and community advocate, serving as Lead Release Train Engineer at Cox Enterprises, Inc. With over 25 years of experience in technology and project management, Rachel has successfully led large-scale, cross-divisional initiatives in finance and supply chain management, driving strategic transformation and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

She holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Release Train Engineer (CRTE) and Certified Business Analyst (CBA). She is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Education.

Known for her collaborative leadership, Rachel coaches and mentors agile teams, fosters continuous improvement, and creates environments for healthy conflict resolution and meaningful collaboration. Her expertise spans IT project management, software implementation, process optimization, and event coordination.

Beyond her professional achievements, Rachel is deeply committed to mentoring and community service. She has volunteered extensively, including nine years coaching boys’ basketball. She serves as a Co-Chair of the IBT Alliance, an Employee Resource Group at Cox Enterprises. Rachel is also an active member of the North Fulton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and has held leadership roles in Toastmasters International.  

Rachel’s dedication to empowering teams and giving back to the community defines her professional and personal journey.
