Head of Lower SchoolRabun Gap-Nacoochee SchoolRenee Rogers is an accomplished independent school leader with over a decade of experience driving innovation, cultivating inclusive school culture, and empowering educators and families. She currently serves as Head of the Lower School at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, where she was the founding leader of the division and has led its growth through strategic planning, faculty development, and the implementation of inquiry-based and applied learning pedagogies to create a one-of-a-kind learning environment in the rural Southeast.
Renee holds a Master of Arts in Middle Childhood Education and additional graduate certifications: one in Global Education & Leadership from the University of Missouri and another in Leadership Practice through the International Baccalaureate. She is also finishing a graduate certificate in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Emergent Inquiry design. A passionate mentor and advocate for women in education, Renee brings a relational approach to leadership. She champions inclusive, strengths-based environments where curiosity, connection, and purpose drive innovation and meaningful growth. She believes in the power of purpose, the importance of presence, and the joy of building something that lasts. |
